3 household uses for salt

  1. Body scrub - Massage damp skin with salt for silky-smooth skin.
  2. Clean up a dropped egg easily - Sprinkle the eggy mess with salt and leave it for 20 minutes. It will wipe up easily.
  3. Clean a wooden chopping board - Rub coarse salt into the board using a wedge of lemon. Rinse well. This will also remove any odours.

Fast cool-down

To quickly cool a drink bottle or can, wrap it in a wet paper towel and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Tennis ball tricks

Rub a tennis ball over scuff-marks on your hard floors. The marks will disappear like magic.
A tennis ball also makes a great massager for tired feet. Take a seat and gently roll your foot back and forth over the ball.
