The plant sale you've been waiting for!

Is there anything better than a plant sale? How about a great plant sale? If you’re looking for something new to spruce up your garden, don’t miss the opportunities offered by this unique event. Head on down to this air-conditioned venue and have all your plant and gardening questions answered by the people who know their plants best; and they can also offer suggestions on how they fit into a waterwise and colourful garden.

Displays and sales

A large variety of plants will be on sale and display by members of the WA Horticultural Council - the umbrella organisation representing amateur horticulture in this great state. This year’s participants include the African Violet Society, Begonia Society of WA, Cactus & Succulent Society, Epiphytic Cacti & Hoya Society, Gardeners' Circle WA, Geranium & Pelargonium Society of WA, Herb Society of WA, Palm & Cycad Society of WA, Perth Heritage Roses, Rose Society of WA, South Eastern Orchid Society, WA Bromeliad Society WA Chrysanthemum Society, WA Fern Society and WA Gerbera Society.

  • SERCUL (The South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare) will also be there to offer advice on how to improve the health of our waterways and other eco systems.
  • Two display sites will offer pest and disease material from the Department of Agriculture as they are particularly concerned with polyphagous shot-hole borer and myrtle rust.
  • The other display is from Open Gardens WA, offering membership and open gardens for you to visit this year.

Don't forget to bring your own boxes and bags to take home your purchases. You’ll also need cash rather cards as the small groups do not have EFTPOS facilities.

Entry for adults is $5 - cash only

The kitchen will be busy providing home-made treats for morning and afternoon teas and light lunches, so you can have a well-deserved rest and a cuppa after a busy session of plant shopping!
