Handy Home Hints main
  1. Lay out your clothes and the kids' clothes so there’s no rushing around to find things, or your gym gear if you’re planning morning exercise.
  2. Make school lunches so they’re ready to be popped into school bags in the morning.
  3. Pack work or school bags with everything you need for the day.
  4. Prepare breakfast – make pancake batter, overnight oats or simply get all the bowls and cereal lined up on the bench.
  5. Check the school timetable or any school newsletters to make sure your kids have everything they need, such as sports gear and completed homework.
  6. Put everyone’s phone on charge
  7. Consider setting alarm clocks 15-30 minutes earlier than usual and do not hit the snooze button in the morning! That little bit of extra time can make all the difference.
