Porcelain tiles are a great all-rounder – including the bathroom. They are a hardwearing tile with the colour and pattern running throughout. They resist stains, scratches and are easy to maintain.

Ceramic tiles are with clay that is fired in a kiln and has the colour and pattern on the surface of the tile. They are non-porous, resist stains and are easy to clean and maintain.

Vinyl tiles are highly practical and low maintenance as they can take a lot of wear and tear. They are also a cost-effective choice. There are endless colours and designs available to suit all tastes.

Terracotta tiles feel warm, comfortable and inviting but in their natural state, they absorb water, so they will need to be well-sealed for use in the bathroom.

Limestone tiles are another type which bring a touch or warmth to your bathroom while still being durable. Limestone is porous in its natural state, so these tiles will also need to be sealed extremely well to be used in bathrooms.

Mosaic tiles are great for creating a unique feature in any bathroom design. There are endless options for colour, size and style, but they can be quite slippery when wet – so these are best for walls. They can be higher maintenance because of the additional grout lines.
