Pests come in all shapes and sizes. They can spread disease, contaminate food, cause damage to your property and be a nightmare to get rid of.
A standard general pest spray covers three pests *excluding termites & ants under a 6 month warranty. Additional pests and extended warranties can be added, and Protector Pest Control will design a package specifically tailored to your needs.
Based upon industry studies, one in three homes will be attacked and damaged by termites (also known as white ants). The reason they manage to cause so much damage is that they can get into the timber unseen and then eat it from the inside out – so the damage isn’t noticed until it’s too late and major structural damage has occurred.
Protector Pest Control believes that prevention is better than having to repair the damage, so they offer termite barrier treatments to suit any home, with a range of payment plans available.
A pre-purchase termite inspection is now a standard part of almost all residential sale contracts in Western Australia. This protects the purchaser from buying a property that is contaminated with termites.
Most sale contracts will require a termite inspection report to identify issues related to termites only. However, some contracts may request a Timber Pest Inspection which requires a more thorough and detailed report on all wood related issues (European house borer, wood rot etc.) This is at a higher cost as it takes longer and requires a significantly larger amount of paperwork.
If you wish to have a Timber Pest Inspection you must request this at the time of booking.
A standard termite inspection report consists of the following,
Any suspect areas will be outlined within the report and treatments recommended if necessary. There is no warranty included in a Termite Inspection Report as it is not a preventative treatment. If termites are not located within your termite inspection it cannot be guaranteed that termites will not gain access to the house until a Termite Barrier Treatment has been completed as a preventative measure.
