Empower your retirement journey with the Association of Independent Retirees
Introducing the Association of Independent Retirees—a vibrant community organisation established in 1996 with a clear aim: Advocacy for Seniors. This not-for-profit group is dedicated to providing a platform for seniors and independent retirees to come together, exchange valuable information, and advocate for their needs. The group meets on the 3rd Friday of each month from February to November at 10.00am. Meetings take place at the Cambridge Bowling Club on Chandler Ave West in Floreat.
At a typical meeting, members engage in lively information sharing and enjoy enlightening talks from guest speakers. Membership offers a treasure trove of benefits, including monthly national and branch newsletters, as well as a second monthly newsletter specifically for Western Australia. The Association of Independent Retirees warmly welcomes new members—you can join by reaching out via phone or simply joining online. And if you're curious, visitors are always welcome to attend a meeting without committing to membership. There's a nominal $2 door fee for attendees, and an annual membership fee that opens the door to a wealth of knowledge, connection, and advocacy.
Join the Association of Independent Retirees and embark on a journey of fellowship, education, and empowerment. Discover the joy of coming together with fellow seniors and independent retirees who share your passions, interests, and the drive to make a difference in the world around you.
