The City of Canning is a vibrant and dynamic City located in Perth’s southeastern suburbs, approximately 10 kilometres from the Perth CBD, covering an area of 65 square kilometres.
It comprises of the suburbs of Bentley, Cannington, East Cannington, Ferndale, Lynwood, Parkwood, Queens Park, Riverton, Rossmoyne, Shelley, Welshpool, Willetton, Wilson and parts of St James, Canning Vale and Leeming.

Canning has a large and diverse population of over 100,000 people and the City of Canning offers a range of services to its residents.

They act to bring people together and foster a shared sense of place, celebrating the diversity of their people, place, and experiences.

The City of Canning recognises the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands in Canning and pays respect to Noongar Elders past, present and future.
