Country Women's Association

Make friends, have fun

If you are seeking friendship, fun, and an ability to make positive changes in your community, look no further than CWA Safety Bay.

CWA Safety Bay is a not-for-profit, volunteer operated, women's organisation which provides an avenue to be active in your local community and gives you the opportunity to meet fantastic women from all over the state and learn new skills.

This group is a proud and active women’s organisation, working to improve the welfare and wellbeing of people everywhere.

Definitely not just tea and scones!

In CWA, there will be an interest for all women, of all ages and abilities. You can do many things under the umbrella of CWA and there are lots of benefits for you and your community.

Opportunities for personal and leadership development are many and varied. CWA members can choose to:

  • Serve on management committees
  • Be a trainer
  • Be an archivist
  • Be a researcher
  • Work on international affairs
  • Simply be a valued member of a branch.
  • Develop or expand your handicraft and cooking skills which are always much in demand

Membership benefits include:

CWA members can apply for bursaries for themselves or their children to further their education.
All members receive regular copies of The Countrywoman of Western Australia magazine throughout the year which maintains communication throughout the Association.

The annual State Conference in July is an excellent opportunity for members to come together for decision making, networking and friendship.

Members also receive a discount when staying at CWA holiday homes.
