A volunteer run community art centre that hosts new exhibitions approx every 3 weeks, art classes and a beautiful space for creative minds to meet and share ideas.
At Ellis House, they believe that art is not just about what you see, but also about how it makes you feel. With a diverse range of workshops, exhibitions, and events, there's always something exciting happening within these walls.
From painting and drawing to ceramics and textiles, the possibilities are endless at Ellis House. Their friendly and supportive atmosphere encourages experimentation and growth, fostering a sense of community among artists of all levels.
So, whether you're stopping by to admire the latest exhibition, participate in a workshop, or simply soak in the inspiring atmosphere, Ellis House Arts Centre invites you to embark on a journey of artistic discovery and self-expression.
Monday 6:30pm to 9pm - Long Pose Portrait Drawing / Painting
Tuesday 10am - 2pm - Tuesday Social Painting
Tuesday 6.30pm - 9pm - Long pose life studies.
Wednesday 6.30pm - 9pm - Still life Drawing/Painting Session
Thursday 7pm to 9pm - Life Drawing
Friday 9am to 10am - Gentle Yoga
Saturday 10:00am to 12:30am - Painting with Jeff Bryant (all mediums)
$40 for the year, plus lots of benefits!
