Hami Helps - Connecting Hamilton Hill

Are you looking for a way to make a positive impact in your community while having fun and making new friends? Look no further than Hami Helps, a vibrant and friendly not-for-profit group based in Hamilton Hill. They are all about advocating, connecting, and supporting like-minded individuals and groups to create a cohesive and caring community.

Hami Helps has a grand vision for Hamilton Hill and beyond. They aim to connect the community by creating neighborhood networks that support, engage, and inform residents. Through various platforms and offline gatherings, they tackle social isolation and promote inclusiveness. Whether you are a seasoned volunteer or a newcomer to community service, Hami Helps will find the perfect role for you.

Meetings

A typical Hami Helps meeting is brimming with enthusiasm and community spirit. Members gather on the first Tuesday of the month from 4.30pm to 6.30pm to discuss and plan upcoming activities, as well as identify and resolve local issues. It's all about working together to bring about positive change and create a stronger, more connected neighbourhood.

Hami Helps welcomes members with open arms, and they understand that life can be busy. Regular attendance is encouraged for the committee members, but for general membership, flexibility is the name of the game. From one-off volunteering to regular assistance, everyone can pitch in as much as they are able to.

At Hami Helps, there's always something you can do to make a difference. Whether you're linking individuals to suitable helping opportunities or assisting with the Hami Eats free community meal program, your efforts will be valued. If needed, training will be provided.

Hami Helps operates from Pear Tree Café, 1 Kerry Street, Hamilton Hill. It's the heart of their activities, where neighbours come together to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
