The hills farmers market is a hub of activity in Kalamunda town centre on Sunday mornings. Grab a bite to eat or some local offerings at your vibrant community market.
Open on Sundays between 8am and noon, it’s a great place to buy local from resident artisans and producers. Run by Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce, the market is a truly local member of the Hills community.
Featuring a wide variety of pickings, including seasonal fruit and vegetables, there’s also organic meat, seafood and free-range eggs; and there are plenty of stallholders who can share great recipes for nutritious food that bursts with flavour.
The stalls also feature:
• Fermented foods and raw foods, plus organics and freshly squeezed juices.
• Organic breads, fermented sourdoughs and gluten-free options.
• Cupcakes, biscuits, macarons, and even sweet and savoury pastries.
• Fresh honey and ground coffee beans, along with pickles, jams, cheese, hot foods and organic olive oils.
• Western and Indian spices, and feature marinades.
If you’re keen on picking up a gift or brightening up your home, there are fresh flowers, hand-made goats milk soaps and natural beauty products. Why not pick up a potted plant while you’re at it?
