Lung Information and Friendship for Everyone (LIFE)
LIFE is run by, and for people with long-term lung conditions, their families, supporters and carers. They can share stories and experiences, and learn better ways to cope with their condition.

They also enjoy quarterly café lunches in the community and an end-of-year function. Run by people with chronic lung disease for others with chronic lung disease, their families, carers and supporters. Members share their experiences and learn better ways to cope with lung conditions such as lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.
You’ll make friends and connect with other people living with lung disease, who know exactly what you’re going through. There’s usually something happening every month from a stimulating combination of guest speakers covering topics such as aged-care rights and responsibilities through to early medicines and improving balance.
There are also social activities including trips around Perth and dining experiences at cafes and pubs. The lung-health support group will provide you with the tools you need to stay active and healthy, living the best quality of life you can.
LIFE gets together the 1st Wednesday of the month (from February to November) at 12 noon - 2.30pm (the speaker starts at 1pm).
