Operation Sunshine WA
Operation Sunshine WA is a not for profit, volunteer run Perth based charity. Their primary objective is to bring happiness to the lives of children and young people in out-of-home and crisis care across Western Australia.
Helping children to feel valued
The team at Operation Sunshine WA believes that every child has the right to be happy, to have a sense of belonging and self-worth, and to feel that they are valued and cared for.
Their aim is to help children to do this, despite unfortunate circumstances. These children have the emotional stress of being disjointed from their families, dealing with trauma, and coping with the isolation they experience after leaving their familiar home environments.
Through the generosity of supporters they raise funds and collect goods to provide these children and young people access to a happier childhood and an increased sense of belonging.
