Join the fun with Retirees WA's Golden Oldies club
Looking for a great way to meet new friends and explore your local area without breaking the bank? Look no further than the Retirees WA Inc. Golden Oldies Club! This fun and friendly group is open to anyone over 55 years of age who is not working full-time.
The club meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Seville Grove Library, located at 78 Champion Drive in Seville Grove. Meetings run from 10.00am to 12 noon, and all members pay a small entry fee of just $3 per person. In addition to the monthly meetings, members are also invited to join in on two mystery outings each month, which are low-cost and designed to explore the local area.
To ensure that everyone is comfortable and accommodated, there is plenty of parking outside the library, including one disabled parking bay and a toilet for disabled people. The meeting room is located at the far end of the library, but if you arrive early, you can always grab a coffee at the nearby Subway. Just remember that the meeting door opens at 9.50am, so please don't arrive before then.
One of the fun features of the Golden Oldies Club is their theme - "Golden Oldies." They encourage members to wear yellow clothing to all meetings and outings, and yellow fascinators/hats are also encouraged. It makes it easier to "spot" each other and adds to the fun and festive atmosphere.
