An informal group of like-minded people who love singing for fun and health! This is a sing-along for adults of all ages with the aim of having fun!
Do you love to sing along with the radio or enjoy singing just for the fun of it? Rostrata Family Centre has launched the Rostrata Community Chorus. It’s a weekly sing-along for adults of all ages where you can make new friends and sing along to your favourite tunes from the 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's. It’s very informal and just good, old-fashioned fun and no experience is needed.
Members love getting together every Thursday morning, led by a fully qualified instructor. They sing along to the hits of today and yesterday (sometimes finding out what the lyrics really are!). Together they build confidence in everyone’s singing – with as much added laughter as possible!
Sessions are held weekly during school terms and are aimed at creating a fun, safe space where members reminisce, enjoy music together and celebrate the most precious things in life.
Each session is followed by a social cuppa and a chat with your fellow singers.
Bookings appreciated.
Every Thursday during school terms from 9:30am - 11:30am - includes morning tea.
$10 per session - pay as you go.
