Introducing the Rotary Club of Como, an organisation dedicated to fostering positive change and community engagement. Founded in 1982, this vibrant club is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need within the community, promoting environmental sustainability, and supporting youth education.
Experience the essence of their meetings, held on the 2nd and 4th Monday evenings of each month. The 2nd meeting features a relaxed atmosphere with casual food, board updates, community partner reports, and engaging discussions about ongoing projects. On the 4th, they come together for a meal and are treated to enlightening talks by captivating guest speakers.
While regular attendance is encouraged, the club understands members' commitments. A weekly bulletin keeps everyone informed about events and projects, even if they can't attend. The club also offers a range of social and vocational outings, creating opportunities for meaningful connections between meetings. Meetings take place at the Collier Golf Club Function Room on Hayman Road, Como.
As a member, you'll connect with local community groups addressing disabilities, disadvantages, youth, and indigenous needs. Their impact also extends internationally through strong Rotary connections, working in unison with Rotary International.
