Start your life long learning journey with the South Perth Learning Centre! Celebrating 30 years of providing a wide range of courses and activities for all ages - this is the place to be!
The South Perth Learning Centre (SPLC) is celebrating 30 years of offering a wide range of lifelong learning courses and activities. Founded by a group of young mums with a $1500 grant from the City of South Perth in 1985, the Centre has grown to become a successful and thriving organisation with hundreds of members.
The Centre offers courses in languages, arts, clubs, information technology, kitchen demonstrations, talks and lifestyles. All courses are taught by experienced teachers and dedicated volunteers, with the support of one full-time staff member.
Located at the Lower Level of the South Perth Civic Centre in South Terrace, South Perth - the SPLC is a great place to start learning something new!
You don’t have to be a South Perth resident to become a member of the South Perth Learning Centre - everyone is welcome!
There are two different membership options: annual membership and term membership. Annual membership costs $40 and you can pay for this on their website here. Term membership costs $15 and is only payable during enrolment into a term programme.
If you don’t want to become a member, that’s totally fine. You can still enrol in a 1-day activity, but you will have to pay the non-member fee.
So join in and become a part of the wonderful learning community.
