Swanbourne Community Garage Sale
Bargain hunters, this one is for you. Neighbours throw open their driveways and front yards for a morning of preloved treasures, coffee and breakfast. Stroll from sale to sale, meet the locals and take home something new to you.

Why stop at one garage sale?
Picture this. Instead of a single garage sale, a whole neighbourhood comes alive with them. That's the idea behind the Whole of Swanbourne Community Garage Sale, and after a cracking first year, it's back for round two.
Residents set up on their front verges on the same morning, turning the streets into a village-style treasure hunt. Your job? Stroll, browse and bag a bargain.
When is it on?
- Sunday 15 November 2026
- 7.00am to 12 noon
Expect homewares, toys, plants, clothes and plenty more, with a mix of new and preloved goods. With Christmas just around the corner, it's a handy chance to tick off a few gifts while you're at it.
How to get involved
- Host: Local residents can register to hold a garage sale from their own property.
- Supporter: Anyone from the surrounding suburbs can register to receive the digital event map showing every participating home.
- Volunteer: Keen to lend a hand on the day? Volunteers are welcome too.
The interactive map lands in your inbox closer to the day, so you can plan your route before you head out.
More than clearing out cupboards
This event is about bringing neighbours together and giving preloved goods a second life instead of a trip to landfill. The organisers encourage you to leave the car at home and walk if you can. It's better for the streets, better for the planet and a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.
Make sure you stop for a coffee at a local café along the way. Your feet will thank you.
