How you can say 'thank you' on Remembrance Day
Our lives would be very different if it wasn't for our service men and women. Each year, at 11am on November 11th, Australians pause for one minute's silence in memory of all those who have died in wars, conflicts and peace operations around the world.
2023 Perth Remembrance Day Service
RSLWA’s official Remembrance Day service takes place each year at the State War Memorial in Kings Park on November 11th. At 11am, buglers sound The Last Post from various CBD intersections synchronised with the Kings Park bugler.
This event commemorates the end of the first modern world conflict that occurred on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918.
