Bob is your local, experienced driving instructor with over 50 years’ experience in teaching people of all ages to drive. He offers lessons in both automatic and manual vehicles, so you can be sure you’ll be learning safe and effective driving skills. As well as learner drivers, he offers driving lessons to overseas drivers and seniors who might need a refresher course.
It can be extremely stressful learning to drive with a family member, especially at the start when there is so much information to take in. For the sake of family harmony, it’s best to call in the professionals at BA Driving School.
Bob’s carefully planned lessons are aimed at passing the Department of Transport's driving test. Some of the things you will be tested on in your practical driving assessment will be:
The examiner will also be taking note of how well you:
Bob will begin by teaching new drivers how the car works, starting and moving off, gear changing and driving on main roads with traffic lights. This progresses to parking and manoeuvring the car around streets and using U-turns, parallel parking, roundabouts, and turning left and right into driveways. As you progress, Bob will also include experience in driving on busier roads.
Bob finds that by taking a calm and patient approach to teaching people to drive, it increases their confidence and he can get the best out of new and inexperienced drivers.
If you hold an overseas licence, eventually you will need to convert it to a WA drivers’ licence. Bob provides patient and expert guidance in both manual and automatic vehicles to get you on the right path.
If you haven’t driven for a while, or feel as though your driving skills aren't quite up to scratch, Bob can provide a refresher course to give you added confidence on the road.
