Learn and improve your game with Beginner Bridge Sessions!

Their Abridged sessions are held on Thursdays at 7.00pm and last for 3 hours, with 18-20 boards played per session. These sessions are perfect for members who are new to bridge and want to build confidence and speed in bidding and play. Although a partner is not required, it's preferred as they operate on a No Host system, so it's pot luck if someone is available to play with you.

Help is provided by experienced players to ensure that all members benefit from additional practice. Recent graduates of the last few series of beginner lessons are especially encouraged to attend.

Abridged sessions attract reduced masterpoints, giving players more time per round and access to bidding aids and limited supervised help.

Each session includes a 15-minute refreshment interval to give players a chance to recharge and socialise.

The cost of each session is $4 for members and $6 for non-members, making it an affordable and rewarding experience for all players.
