Remove soap scum

A damp used dryer sheet can remove hard water stains and soap scum.

Save a burnt pan

Fill the pan with warm water and lay a new dryer sheet flat on top to soak overnight.

In the morning, the baked-on gunk will have either floated off or be loose enough to scrape off with a spatula.

Freshen up

Don't throw away your used dryer sheets!

Place them in shoes, gym bags and the bottom of rubbish bins to keep smells away.

Clean your chrome

Rub a used dryer sheet over your taps and shower heads to make them sparkle.

Dust!

The static-absorbing qualities of a used dryer sheet makes it great for lifting dust off appliances, blinds, and everything in between.

Clean your iron

Now and again, the metal plate on your iron can get dirty.

Turn the iron on low heat and run the iron over the dryer sheet and the grime will disappear.

Remove crayon marks on your wall

Rub a tumble dryer sheet over the crayon mark to remove it.
