Does your TV have pesky pixels?

You don't have to put up with poor TV reception

October 29, 2020

You settle down with a cuppa to watch your favourite TV show and the picture is nothing but a bunch of pixels scattered across the screen. Here's why.

Pixelation(squares) on your screen is just data which has not been received or was lost in transmission due to a poor connection. This is a sign of a of a poor signal which can be caused by a variety of issues including:

  • Damaged cables
  •
  • Loose connections
  •
  • Faulty splitters (which are used to split your signal and send it to multiple TVs or devices)
  •
  • Old or damaged antennas

You don't have to put up with this. It's not a good idea to mess with equipment (and definitely don't get onto your roof!). Most issues can be fixed if you call an antenna expert who will be able to diagnose the problem and fix it.
