Exercise your body and mind at the same time!
You can do two things at once
Listening to a podcast or an audio book while exercising is the perfect time-saving combination. You can get lost in a good story (but try not to actually get lost if you are walking!), have a chuckle at a comedy podcast or even practise a bit of mindfulness with a guided meditation.
Remove the ‘short of time’ stress
Because you are combining two activities at once, you will reduce that stressful feeling of not having enough hours in the day.
More exercise!
You may even find yourself doing a bit of extra exercise because you want to listen to that next chapter or cannot wait for the next episode of that podcast.
It’s a distraction
Instead of focusing on how busy you are you will be focussing on your podcast or book. Before you know it, you have finished both and still have some time left in your day. What a great feeling!
Free stuff
There are thousands of podcasts and audiobooks out there and many are free. You can access them if you join your local library, or just do a bit of a search online to see what is on offer.
