You know what it's like - refusing to do as it's told or sometimes doing the complete opposite!
Opens a bit - then closes again
If your garage door seems like it has a mind of its own and won't open the whole way before closing again, it's likely that the springs at the top of the door need attention.
Annoying grinding noise
This could be loose hardware, damaged tracks, worn out parts or areas that need lubrication.
Garage door stops halfway
This can be caused by a motor that is worn out, worn drive gears or an issue with your remote control.
Always call your local garage door expert to fix garage door problems. There are lots of moving parts that are potentially dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Your local expert has the knowledge to sort things out properly and get your garage door moving smoothly again. (Unfortunately, they won't be able to fix your teenagers!)
