All-purpose cleaner
350ml methylated spirit
150ml water
Squirt of dish soap
Spray bottles
- Add the methylated spirit and water to a 500ml spray bottle and add a squirt of dish soap.
- To make in larger or smaller quantities it is a 70% methylated spirit/30% water mix.
Toilet bowl cleaner
1 cup sodium bicarbonate
1/4 cup citric acid
1 tbsp dishwashing liquid (any)
Silicone ice cube tray
Air-tight jar or container
- Add the sodium bicarb and citric acid to a bowl. Mix well and add the dishwashing liquid.
- Mix together well using your hands, a spoon or a whisk.
- Press the mixture into the ice cube tray and wipe away any excess.
- Let them dry for at least 4 hours or overnight and store in an airtight container.
- To clean and deodorize your toilet, simply toss a toilet bomb into your toilet bowl.
Glass cleaner
2 cups water
1/2 cup white or cider vinegar
1/4 cup methylated spirit or rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol).
1 to 2 drops of orange essential oil (optional)
Put all the ingredients into a spray bottle.
