Cleaning
Grout
Cleaning those hard-to-reach grout spaces between your kitchen or bathroom tiles can prove to be a bit tricky, but a toothbrush is the perfect size to scrub those narrow spaces easy-peasy.
Keyboard
Dirt and grime tends to build up in our computer keyboards over time (you really don't want to know what's lurking in there!). The small spaces between the keys can be tough to reach, but an old toothbrush will do the job. Use a dry brush and tilt the keyboard as you clean it to make sure that all the dust and grime falls out.
Car interior
The inside of your car is filled with lots of hard-to-reach spaces that can quickly build up with dirt, grime, and dust. Try using an old toothbrush to reach every nook and cranny.
Small appliances
Small kitchen appliances such as toasters, coffee makers, and microwaves all have tricky little spots where grime loves to lurk. Use your old toothbrush to clean these hard-to-reach areas, leaving your small appliances squeaky clean and gleaming!
Walls
Children love to scribble on walls with crayon, but don’t stress! You can use your old toothbrush and a dab of shaving cream to quickly remove their masterpieces!
Sinks and baths
Clean around taps and in those hard to reach nooks and crannies.
Small bottles and jars
Keep an old toothbrush next to your kitchen sink so you’ll always have a small scrubbing brush to reach into those small bottle openings or the bottoms of narrow jars.
Cheese grater
Rather than shredding a sponge cleaning your cheese grater, the bristles of an old toothbrush will take care of the job.
Beauty tricks
Flyaway frizz
Toothbrushes can also be used to tame flyaway hairs and frizz. Spray some hairspray on the bristles and gently comb back those little hairs that never seem to do as they're told. This is a great finishing touch for any hairdo.
Messy brows
If your brows aren't cooperating, they can also be tamed using a toothbrush if you don't have an eyebrow comb at hand.
Colour touch ups
A toothbrush is a perfectly sized tool for adding a streak of colour or touching up those roots.
Nail brush
The long handle on a toothbrush makes it an excellent substitute for a nail brush when cleaning your nails (especially toe nails which are a bit more tricky to reach).
