A Stormproof tiled roof restoration includes:

  • Broken and damaged tiles replaced to prevent future leaks
  • The entire roof is high-pressure cleaned
  • Ridgecapping is sealed using a flexible compound
  • Anti-fungus treatment is applied
  • One coat of primer is applied
  • Two coats of Dulux AcraTex membrane roof coating are applied (over 30 colours available)
  • All mess is removed, leaving your property clean and tidy

Not only will your roof be the envy of the street, it will add 15-20 years to the life of your roof.

Bring your tiled roof back to life!

After about 15 years, your tiled roof will begin to wear and show signs of damage. The tiles become covered in dirt, grime and moss, which make it look unattractive and messy. But that’s not all it does. That ugly dirt actually deteriorates the condition of your tiles. Then the ridge capping can start to crack, causing leaks and damage in your roof cavity. If these problems are left, these leaks can cause major internal damage to your roof space and ceilings.

High quality and long lasting

Stormproof Roofing will restore your tiled roof with the latest paint technology that will protect it from the harsh Perth sun and keep it looking fantastic for years to come. They offer a 10 year guarantee on the paint, the ridge capping and the workmanship.

Improve the value of your home

A tired-looking old tiled roof can actually bring down the value of your home. On the other hand, a fully restored roof will change the look of your home completely, making it the envy of the street – and it won’t cost the earth. A typical tiled roof restoration costs between $2,500 and $5,500 depending on the size of your home. A roof restoration is generally a 2 day job and will, in most circumstances, add a further $10,000 – $15,000 to the value of your home.

Tiled roof repairs

If you have noticed stains appearing on your ceiling, you may have a leaking roof. Leaks can be caused by broken tiles or ridge capping, or general wear and tear, but if it isn't fixed promptly, it can cause serious internal damage. Stormproof Roofing will assess the condition of your roof and provide a written quote to fix the problem. Roof repairs can include:

  • Replacement of broken tiles
  • Ridge capping is repaired/repointed using flexible compound
  • Valley irons are relipped or replaced if required

Broken tiles alone can cause a roof ceiling to collapse if not replaced at the first signs of water damage on the ceiling, so call Luke or Georgina for a free roof inspection and a no-obligation quote (and a fabulous looking roof!).
