Ingredients
Ripe pears (1 per person)
Chopped nuts (such as walnuts, pecans, pistachios)
Ground cinnamon
Maple syrup
Ice cream to serve
Method
- Wash pears well, then cut them in half and take a small scoop out of the centre to remove pips.
- Put some chopped nuts into the centre.
- Dust with cinnamon.
- Brush the cut surface all over with maple syrup (not too much or it will just run off).
- Place in air fryer, cut side up and air fry at 190C.
- After 10 minutes re-glaze with more maple syrup and take out when done (15-20 mins depending on type and ripeness of pear).
- Serve with ice-cream and a drizzle of maple syrup.
