Chicken, Cheese, and Bacon Stuffed Cob Loaf
An oldie but a goody that’s had a bit of a comeback in recent years. Nowadays anything goes when it comes to stuffing your cob loaf – but here’s a quick and easy recipe (that everyone will love) to get you started.
Ingredients
1 cob loaf
300ml sour cream
300g tasty cheese - grated
200g mozzarella cheese - grated
3 spring onions, sliced
3 bacon rashers cooked and diced
1 cooked chicken breast shredded or diced.
Handful of chopped chives
Method

Cut the top off the cob loaf and hollow it out, leaving the crust

Save the removed bread and cut into bite-sized pieces

Mix together the tasty cheese and mozzarella cheese, put a handful to one side to sprinkle on top when baking the cob.

Mix together the sour cream, the rest of the mixed cheese, half the chopped chives, chicken, spring onions and bacon.

Put the mixture into the hollowed-out cob loaf and sprinkle the cheese you set aside, on top with the remaining chives.

Bake at 180C for about 30 minutes.

Use the chunks of bread to dive into the dip!
