  1. Don’t add chlorine during the day - it breaks down when exposed to sunlight, so you’ll end up having to use more to keep the water healthy.
  2. Keep your pool clean - a dirty pool means you are overworking the pumps and filters, which will increase maintenance costs in the long-term.
  3. Maintain the correct chemical balance – this will prevent algae and cloudy water from developing.
  4. Keep leaves out of your pool - they upset the chemical balance and deplete chlorine levels.
  5. Invest in a robotic cleaner – this will save you a lot of work and keep the pool floor clean.
  6. Buy a good quality pool cover – this will reduce evaporation, so you won't be filling the pool as often. A pool cover will also keep debris out of the pool.
