Give your friend a box of crayons. With your back turned and your hands behind your back, ask your friend to select one of the crayons and place it into your hand.

Keeping your hands behind your back, turn to face your friend and stare into their eyes. As you do this scape the crayon with your thumbnail, so a tiny piece stays under your nail.

Place the hand you just scraped the crayon with on your friend’s forehead as if trying to read their mind. Discretely look at your thumbnail to see what colour they picked.

Announce your prediction and of course you will be correct. Repeat if you wish - but not too many times or you may give the secret away!
Tip - keeping eye contact with your friend is key to the success of this trick!
