- Use an eraser to carefully clean suede shoes. This will lift off dirt without damaging the suede.
- Glass cleaner or Vaseline will hide small scratches and bring back the shine to patent leather shoes.
- Whiten the soles of your shoes with toothpaste. Just take an old toothbrush and clean the soles of your shoes with toothpaste for a few minutes. You will notice a dramatic improvement!
- Pop a car air freshener inside your shoes while you're not wearing them to get rid of unpleasant smells. If this doesn’t work, it might be time to change the insoles.
- If your shoes get wet, fill a cloth bag with rice or cat litter and put into your shoes to absorb moisture.
