Daily tasks
- Make your bed in the morning - it doesn’t take long and gives the whole room a fresher look (plus it feels good to tick off an easy win straight away).
- Empty the dishwasher early so it’s ready to take care of the day’s dishes.
- Do a quick pick-up of clutter or, if you’re short on time, toss it all into a washing basket and put things back where they belong later.
- Wipe down kitchen benches after preparing meals or snacks - it keeps things looking neat and saves effort later.
- Sweep or vacuum the kitchen floor to catch crumbs before they travel everywhere.
- Empty the rubbish bins regularly to keep the kitchen smelling fresh.
- A quick squirt of toilet cleaner while you’re passing through makes the job faster later - leave it to sit for 10 minutes, give it a swish and flush.
