  • Wrap one around pens for a better grip (for the young or elderly) and bundle your pens together with a rubber band so you know where they all are.
  • Use rubber bands to hold together pre-cut fruits (such as apples and oranges) to prevent them from drying out and going brown.
  • Create a gripper around a lid that is difficult to get off a jar.
  • Keep a tape measure or ribbons from getting tangled.
  • Seal food packets once opened.
  • Start a rubber band ball – just for fun (and see how big you can make it!)!
  • Stop your kids from going mad with a pump action soap or shampoo bottle. Just wrap a rubber band around the base of the bottle’s pump to help them with portion control!
  • Put rubber bands around each corner of your chopping board to stop it from sliding around.
  • Keep tools from slipping in your hands by adding extra grip around the handles.
  • Slippery doorknob? Add a rubber band for better grip!
  • Wrap rubber bands around the ends of hangers to secure clothes and stop them from slipping off and getting wrinkled at the bottom of your wardrobe.
  • To stop spoons from falling into cooking pots, secure a rubber band on the spoon’s handle where it hits the rim of the pot or bowl.
  • A rubber band wrapped between the handles of a cupboard or drawer can keep them shut tight and away from prying little fingers.
  • Tie dye something!
  • If you put two or three rubber bands on a child's cup you can prevent them from spilling drinks. The bands make it easier for them to hold it if the outside of the cup gets wet.
