Skip the washing

There is no need to wash your hair every day! We all like fresh and clean looking hair, but washing it daily isn’t helping as it can cause damage over time. The oils your hair naturally produce have a protective role, so there is really no point in stripping them off day after day.

The ‘no styling’ style

Whether sleek and smooth or textured and messy, a bun is a fool-proof way to get great style in a hurry.

Speedy styling

Make sure your hair is 80% dry before styling, otherwise you are wasting your time.

After washing, gently towel dry your hair and let it air dry for 10 to 15 minutes. While it’s drying you can get on with doing something else in your morning routine.

Snooze and style!

Braid your hair and wake up with beautiful waves the next morning. This also minimises the dreaded morning frizz. Just give your hair a tousle and off you go!

You can also spritz your hair with dry shampoo at night to wake up with fresh ‘bed head’ hair that looks great.

Condition and comb

Did you know that conditioner not only smooths your hair, but it can help it to dry faster, too? Me neither! The silicones in conditioner coat each strand and seal it down, repelling water in the process. Keep a wide-tooth comb inside your shower and comb through when applying conditioner to ensure an even application.

Style half your hair. Seriously!

Sometimes styling is essential, but there are shortcuts. Focus your styling attention on the sections of hair around the face and the top of your head. By concentrating solely on these areas, you can create a polished look in a fraction of the time.

After a workout

If your hair is clean but you just finished a sweaty workout, take the blow-dryer and blast your roots dry. Then spray dry shampoo into the roots to absorb oil and instantly look fresh and smell good again.
