Easter Trading hours 2022

The Easter break is coming and at some stage we will want to know when the shops will be open. This year, the State Government has approved four extra hours of trading on Easter Monday for general retail shops in the Perth metropolitan area.

April 14, 2022

Good Friday (15 April 2022)

Closed

Saturday (16 April 2022)        

8.00am to 5.00pm

Sunday (17 April 2022)

11.00am to 5.00pm

Easter Monday (18 April 2022)

8.00am to 6.00pm

All shops are regarded as general retail shops unless they fall under any one of the other categories including:  

  • Small retail shops  
  • Special retail shops
  • Filling/service stations or motor vehicle shops

The trading hours of the following store types are not covered by the Act and therefore do not have specified trading hours, so check the opening times with the business:

  • Restaurants, cafes & takeaway food shops
  • Short-term markets (set up and dismantled in one day)
  • Shops on Rottnest Island
