- Have a family games night – they get to choose what to play.
- Make a family time capsule
- Exercise together – join your local parkrun, do some yoga or go for a bike ride.
- Have a movie night at home – don’t forget the popcorn and choc tops!
- Bake or cook together – teach them some old family recipes or try some new ones.
- Have a Pull Apart Day!
- Ask them to teach you how to play the video games they like to play.
- Have a go at Geocaching.
- Go bowling, ice skating, play mini golf or laser tag. How to 'go bowling' at home
- Teach them new skills such as knitting, sewing or basic DIY.
- Help them to redecorate their room to make it more grown up – scour the op shops for hidden treasures.
- Help them to declutter – they probably want to get rid of their little kid things.
- Ask them to show you how Tik Tok or other apps work!
- Have a Nerf gun battle!
- Go camping - at home!
- Make a photo book with them using pics from when they were small; talk about your memories of them at that age while you are doing it.
- Make a family playlist on Spotify and then dance (although this could be a bit too much for the older Tween!).
